Saffana is a mathematician and story-teller who enjoys contextualising the experience of ethnic minorities based on data and real-life insights. Currently, she is learning SQL and Python to better hone her data capabilities to perfect proposals, turning sceptics of multicultural marketing into believers.
Saffana has worked across different Omnicom departments gaining a deeper understanding of commitments as well as optimising media planning to reach niche audiences. She has successfully planned campaigns for several Government clients as well as brands such as Sainsbury’s, Lidl and Macmillan to name a few
Alongside her work at OMG UNITE, Saffana is co-founder of Project Ribcage – a platform dedicated to interviewing and broadcasting amazingly accomplished Muslim women with the hope of inspiring a younger generation. Project Ribcage also includes mentoring and coaching young women, hosting events, speaking in schools and providing CV and career advice. Hailed a ‘Trailblazing Muslim woman’, Saffana has featured in the Stylist and Buzzfeed for her work.
