Senior Creative & Content Executive
Word-obsessed author of short-story 'Seven Sinners', Shanel graduated from the University of Essex in 2017 with a BA Hons in English Language. Shortly after becoming a freelance copywriter, she joined JLR’s media hub as a Content QA where she developed a range of skills within digital marketing and media.
This led her to being hired as Lead Copywriter for a dealership group representing the likes of Ford, Kia, Nissan and Mazda where she played a large role in helping her team win Best Online Consumer Experience at the AM Awards in 2020. During her time there, her company also enjoyed a 260% increase in organic traffic and a 488% rise in organic ranking keywords.
In her spare time, she dives into speculative advertising and poetry and has gone viral with her work in digital spaces. She has been featured in The Drum for a concept on the Future of Gaming as well as many marketing channels on social media.
Shanel is a passionate hybrid creative and content marketer specialising in branding, design, copywriting, content writing, SEO, UX and digital strategy.
